Try the bulb.

Thread in this forum, a few threads down from your thread at the moment.

Directions look correct, and straight forward in the thread, so you should be good to go, if it is the bulb.

I've got the same issue on a 2006 lariat crew cab. Replaced the bulb and still won't light up. Any other suggestions without paying out the a** to a dealership?

Time to get a meter and check for + VDC in the bulb socket with the main headlamp switch at least in the park position.

If you get + VDC using the bulb socket, your 2nd bulb was bad.

If you do not get +VDC, next try a different ground ( side wall of the cigar lighter; not the center pin ).
