Keyless Entry Unknown

I bought my F150 2006 XLT from CARMAX and they didnt have the keyless entry combination. I am told that you can take it into ford and they charge like $100 to tell you the manufacture code. I dont feel i need to spend that kind of money. Im also told that the code is in the truck on a sticker somewhere but im not totaly sure where that is any help?

`-Thanks

I think that is correct for your truck. If it's an SCrew, or maybe even a SCab, there's a thread somewhere in the "How To's" on getting the back seat out. The procedure is not obvious.

It is behind the back seat, on the security module on the drivers side. I just did mine today, took about 20 minutes total. Getting to the tabs that hold the seat on is a pain in the ***, but doable. There are a couple of websites that show how to remove the backseat, just google it.

No need to google it, just use the Technical Articles link at the top of the forum pages here

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...08-my-way.html

Has the section right from the service manual in the thread, works like a top.
