Question Trailer Wiring Unanswered...

1997 F250 trailer wiring at firewall bulkhead, below brake booster, on inside of truck (very easy to access), has power to Green wire turn signal only, Yellow wire turn signal DEAD, Brown tail-lights wire DEAD. [U]Question[U] Where does this power come from that would cause to be interupted? (Turn Signal Switch?)

I want to say the F-250 is almost 1:1 to the F-150 in the 1997 and 1998 MYs ( Recalling that from memory for some reason ).

If this is the case :

If both Turn / Stop lamp circuits are dead, take a look at the trailer town turn / stop lamp fuse in the Engine Mini fuse panel.

From 1997 F-150 Owners Manual :

Here is a picture of the covers off the Engine Mini Fuse panel and the Engine Relay panel with the items documented ( documented by projectsho89 )

Here is a different angle from another member, that only has the cover off the Engine mini fuse panel

I know quite a bit of the autolamp, headlamp and fog lamp is the same, the inclusion of the engine mini fuse panel I cannot be 100% sure of right now ( not enough coffee in me ).

Let us know what you find, and if we need to take a different route.

OK...Thanks... Found it. It WAS the mini fuse. My question is why was there a right stop/turn, and no left stop/turn? (Seperate fuse for left, and right?) Oh Well... It works now anyway.
Thanks a again

There is only 1 fuse for both left and right.

There are 2 relays.
