need some help

i have a 2000 F150 XLT and when im driving down the road my windshield wipers will come on and my hand will be nowhere near the switch but idk if any of yall guys had the same trouble and could tell what i need to do to fix it??
NEXT PROBLEM: my keyless entry doesnt work and i went up to autozone to c if my battery in my keyless entry remote was good and it was so that aint it, i have no clue i think maybe its a bad fuse or wire or something can someone help me with any of these problems??

The RKE, do you have another one to try. With a 2000, I would think the button contacts in the RKE fob might be getting a bit worn out. If you have another to try, that would answer the question quick on that.
If you don't have another one programmed for the truck, but can get another ( family member, friend with the same Ford one ) you could program it ( instructions in the owners manual ) and test it, then reenter programming mode to erase it again.

thanks sscully for helping me find that its what i needed, it helped alot with the wiper problems, but no im talking about the keyless entry on my keychain lol my unlock and lock and my panic button doesnt work when i press it, im sorry for the confusion and oh yea my in cab door unlock and lock button does work either i will go to press it to unlock and it will try to unlock but it ends up staying locked and then making a weird noise that comes from my glove department. any thoughts on that?? thanks man

That is what I was talking about, the RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) fob for the key chain.

If it does not work at all, try programming it.

These instructions are in your owners manual



I would think at least the panic button should work.

If the locks are not working with the buttons on the door, I would say lock actuator problem. Several threads on the site about them.

The lock actuators have nothing to do with the panic button for the horn, but start with cleaning / replacing the lock actuators.
