I have a 2002 Ford F-150 Extended Cab. I thought the interior lights would come on when the ignition key was removed. They come on when you unlock the doors with the remote and when you open the door. Is this working right or should the interior lights come on when the key is removed from the ignition?

 

Sounds like what I recall from my 2001 XLT as correct operation.

What does the owners manual say ?

 

Maybe something that can be user enabled/disabled?
