OEM remote starter not starting...

So I looked in the manual it says if the light (the red indicator light on the dash) flashes once every 4 seconds that means the remote starter has been disabled. So I called 1-800-Ford-Key and the tech is telling me to turn the toggle switch the other way...there is no toggle switch, atleast from what I see....but there is a small push button. Anyways when i press the lock then the blue starter button it goes through the cycle 3 times (lights on primes the fuel) but no start.....anyone know how to undisable the remote starter because the tech sure didn't....I may call back tomorrow and hope to have a competent person to talk to tomorrow...any input would be greatly appreciated!

What were the symptoms before you noticed the LED, and what did you do with the person on the phone ?

Which version is the RMST ?

Just a shot in the dark, but if you touch a programmed key to the key cylinder, does the remote start work? That's exactly what mine does and I found the problem to be that the bypass module, I have, isn't working properly. I just haven't gotten around to getting a replacement module, yet.
