You don't have a load resister on the right taillight?

I'd think you might need a resister on the 3rd light too. Otherwise, the truck will sense that it is burned out.

I have a LED 3rd brake light only, and without the resistor, the light was on slightly all the time, and would light up more when I hit the brakes. It looked kind of funny at night, cause I basically had a tail-light up top as well as the regulars.

Also, my cruise control didn't work cause the computer thought my brakes were on. Installed the resistor and everything is normal now.

I would think you need them on all 3.

no i dont have one on the right..i havent put one there yet because the 3rd brake light doesnt come on when blinker on right only when left blinker on... the resistor i have on rear tailight is too big to fit where 3rd brake light is so im going to have to find a small one to fit there..i got resistor at autozone.. is there a certain one to get at local parts store? thanx

SuperbrightLEDs sells 6 ohm, 50 Watt resisters for this purpose. They're on this page: http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html I don't know if you can find them at a parts store.
