I'm going to do something I don't usually do. Please read through about 10 of the threads adjacent to this one and you'll find your answer.

Sorry Jack was up past his bed time when he posted that answer.

The newer F-250s, it is not that easy to do with the inclusion of the Smart Junction Box ( 2009 + F-150s followed the same route )

Just about everything is Micro processor controlled on the truck, including the headlamps and fog lamps ( kind of GM design like ).

The only real way I see to do it, is to remove the fog lamp relay function ( not the relay, it is solid state, and soldered into the SJB ) from the SJB, and use the factory switch to control the relay.

The F-250s switch ground to the fog lamp relay, power is constant, and the Micro control of the SJB turns them off when the high beams are on.

Here are a few of the diagrams from the 2008 EVTM, you can see most of it is the switches telling the SJB what to do, and the SJB controlling the function.

I think I was, wasn't I? Sorry, 07 FX4, I should have read your post more carefully. You were not talking about F150's at all, and my feeble brain didn't pick up on that. :o

Fortunately, we DO have SSCULLY on this forum to keep me in line. (And to supply the answers you need).

Jack,

no problem, figured you were doing that to test me, as you never say do a search.

The only other thing I can see would be removing the SJB from the truck, scrapping the trace off the pin to the fog lamp relay coil ground, and soldering it direct to pin 49, in connector C2280B ( the SJB side of the connector ).
