i have a 2000 f150 & the passenger side rear brake light & turn signal don't work All wiring is good from under the hood back I need a wiring diagram for the truck, (or somone to tell me what is wrong haha!!!!!!!!!)

 

Did you try replacing the bulb ?

Did you put a meter in the socket, using the ground in the socket to test for power ?

 

Yup! Having seen a few of these myself, if a new bulb doesn't fix it - check the ground! I know chassis ground makes sense, but it sure seems like a weak kind of circuit.

I ran power from harness under hood & blub worked so that is why, i need a wiring diagram so i can trace wires under the dash

 

I think we misunderstood. Your original post said you had checked the wiring all the way from under the hood to the light and it was good. This says the positive side is good.

Now, you're saying you "jumped" it?

So, the fault is in the positive side?

OK I found broken wire going into the turn signal swicth now, when i took key tumblers out to get to turn sigal sw. I think I activated anti theft devise does anyone know how to fix that so the truck will start???????????

 

Sounds like you broken the PATS antenna.

There is a ring around the ign switch, this has 2 wires that go into the steering wheel harness. Check both of these.

Without this, the truck will not start.

Where did you find a broken wire at ? On the MFS, or on the connector in the steering wheel ?
