Dash Lights 2008 Model

The backlight on the odometer on my 2008 FX2 has gone out. Does anyone know how to get behind it to replace it? What kind of bulb should I expect back there?

Would this be covered under warranty? (hate to take it in just for that though)

Yes, but since your truck IS under warranty, you DO not want to do anything that would void that warranty. I'm 99% sure it is covered. I'd take it to the dealer. And, if the dealer's repair fails, you'll want them to fix it again. If things continue to go wrong, you may have a "Lemon Law" complaint.

I'd only start pulling the panel out after the warranty period has expired.

Thanks Sscully. I might try pulling the panel as described in that thread. If it becomes more than I want to bite off, I guess I'll have the dealer do it. Kind of frustrating though to have to leave your truck at the dealer all day for a light bulb. Argh...
