wiring fog lights to headlights?

im pretty sure it was done correctly i didnt end up having to do all that bc i went to autozone and found out that my projector headlights came with a thing that you just have to do that pigtail thing you talked about then i wired the foglights and my headlights to that. and the projector headlight thing had a connection made to connect to my stock headlight plug....


let me know if you dont get that lol sorry its hard to describe

How about we make sure it is done correctly. This is part of diagnosing the problem.

You did 2 changes at one time, and have a problem, we need to step back and make sure the headlamps part was done correct, 100% sure it is correct.

i had them both come on before... then i wired the hid fogs in and turned them on and there went the fuse

So you know the projector headlamps work then.

The HID kit, does the ballast have a trigger circuit, or only the input voltage to turn it on and off ?

If the ballast does not have a trigger voltage, it is going to look like this when we are done ( these are for headlamps, but similar install )
