I'm not 100% sure - but I beleive there is a method in the manual?

Or just listen for the sound and unplug the buzzer?

The easiest method is to not be stupid or illegal and wear your belt. If you are still too thick skulled, the search here for "beltminder" or read your manual. All will net reasonably good results.

It is legal in NH to not wear your seat belt. If it is so illegal why is the method to disable the alarm in the manual?

And why harp on the person? They came here, asked a valid question and got a valid response. You duplicated the response and added an insult! Way to go. By the way, if EVERY question could be answered with a search - why not lock all the threads and the board and just leave it open for archiving?

In my 04 there is a connector (gray) under the seat that controls the dinger. I unplugged it. I don't know if it controls anything else or not, but everything to date is still working (1+ year like this). There is also a airbag connector (mine is yellow) under the seat so make sure you get the right one.

Glad to see it worked out for ya. Sorry if I was a little strong, I am still a little new here and this was covered seemingly daily on the ranger forums I was on for 2 years prior...that and how to remove the 92mph governor, lol. Both of these devices are put in for safety reasons, that's all.

I wanna get rid of that seat belt minder, and the dinging startup. Fords have the loudest, most annoying dingers imo.
