Question 94 F150 Turn signal switch change

On the 94 F-150 the turn signal switch is mounted on the side of the steering column with 2 screws and is under a 2 piece shroud. Whats the easiest way to remove it with out pulling the instrument cluster face cover off if thats possible? The lower half of the shroud comes right off. The upper half looks like it might be a problem. I thought of just bending it up out of the way if possible since I am not too appearance conscious on this truck. I appreciate any advice or tips on getting it out and back in again.

If you pull off the steering wheel, and carefully pull the harnesses a little, you can easily replace the multi-switch.

You must unscrew the steering wheel tilt lever too.

It's actually pretty easy.

Any detailed pictures on how to remove this 2 piece schroud? The removal of the bottom half sounds easy but the verbiage I read on removing the top half scares the hell out of me. Any pictures would be great as I believe this is my problem. My Daughter recently started driving and my problems began. Yes, she too adjusts the steering wheel.....everytime.
