two questions.. help please

Question two questions.. help please

ok, first one is how can you wire your factory light switch to allow fog lights to be on WITH the high beams on too?

second one is, if i put under drive pulleys on and electric fans with a 600 watt amp rockin my subwoofer would the factory alt. take a dump?

Can't help you with part two, but if you look at the top of this page...in the header, it says Technical Articles. Open that and scroll down to the last entry. It says it's easy........you be the judge...

There's been some posts on this.

Basically it involves popping the **** off and removing a nubbin that prevents the action you're trying.

If I remember right you pop the **** out, rotate 180 and re-insert to remove the switch assy. Then you can see what you're working with.

Double check that procedure but I think it's right.

With a 2004+ MY truck, no switch modifications required ( that is with the 99-03 to be able to turn the fogs on with the parking lamps only ).

The modification is changing where the fog lamp relay coil gets ground from.
