Lets get some more details here. Post a pic of your truck, preferabbly. I don't recommend bolting lights to a plastic license plate frame. Mount it on your bumper or if you like the look, do what some of us guys did and mount it behind the grille. What kinda of lights are you looking at? Hella? PIAA?

Sounds pretty "tacky", doesn't it Raptor?

Not sure if this helps but I've got a couple lights on my front bumper. I think it looks fine.

With the $20 Bajas

And My Hellas. I painted the cover black later on.

I installed mine in the bumper slot. They work pretty good there. Right now I'm using a remote control for the lights but plan on getting the OEM headlight switch to control them from the switch.

On the 02' you can mount the lights on the inside of the grill and give your truck a neat clean look that is fully operational and there is even a nice ledge inside the grill already there for the lights. Good luck.

I saw a picture of someones truck (new body style) with the lights in the grille like they are on a Mustang GT. Looked VERY slick and makes me want to do something similar to my Expedition.
