Scangauge - who is interested?

I just talked to ScanGauge and will be selling them pretty soon, who is interested? If there is enough interest I can do a group buy or introductory price for the first so many customers.

How accurate is the MPG calculations? Like the instant one you can see what your truck is currently getting?

I do not know, I don't have a scangauge (yet) to find the accuracy.

One thing I do know is that you can watch it to see real time #'s while you are driving, to see when you get the best mpg. Even if that # is off one or two, you will still be optimizing your mileage.

I would also be interested- I have 1 of the original SG's. I thought the price from Scan Gauge was $169.95 though. I would definitely be interested at $150. though. -Roger

It's pretty accurate, I'd wager 90-95% if you have it set up right.

They are accurate to .1 mpg. I have mine and got it for $149.99 shipped off of a dealer on eBay. I have a video demo of me scrolling through EVERYTHING on it so if you have a question go to youtube and type in 98 F150 Scangauge and look for one by me. I can't provide a linky, I'm on a school computer at the moment.

They are pretty convienient. I bought one because my dad's car has one built in and I was curious on my MPG. I went from ~17 to ~20 mpg after I got this thing.

Only thing you have to do is once you get it, you enter your tank size (24.5 = 25) engine size (4.2 here) and wha-la! I have used it to do that tailgate myth and although there is some variation, its so minute that you use more gas idling for 2 minutes at a stop light.

Guys, I just bought it on Amazon for 139.84 free shipping. They have been doing that about every 3 weeks. Today is is back to 159. Ordered mine three days ago. Watch the price and order when they have that price, it is cheaper than the group buy.

If you have the older version of the Scan Guage do what I did.
I called direct and ordered the Scan Guage II. Be sure to mention you have the old version and the price is much lower ($139.95).

I will be doing 149.95 with free shipping for the first few weeks.

I will post a link to our website in a few hours, once the listing is finished.
