I have a 01 XL with a 5 spd. and a Standard Cluster (NO TACH.) my question is... If i somehow got my hands on a Cluster with a tach could i just Plug and Play??

if you have chipped keys which you probably do no you can't. You will need to change cluster then tow to dealer and have keys reprogrammed to the cluster with the tach if you do a search on this site their has been a few post on this subject if you search on autometer site they make a steering wheel pod or a pillar pod and i believe a 2 1/8 inch tach

 

Is there any reason why you want a whole cluster and not just a tach?
I just got my Scanguage and it has a tach read out from the OBDII port. I guess the whole cluster would obviously look neater though.
