2004 F150- drivers door electric window failed; inspection shows control cable
jacket fitting not attached to controler. Looks like plastic failed.
Any suggestions in the removal of the assembly. Looks like the rivets on the assembly arm attached to the foward track will have to be drilled out (?) What part/assembly are available for this repair.
if anyone can walk me through the process it will be greatly appreciated.
I currently have the glass assembly in the up position using wood wedged to the horizontal door stiffnerThanks,Bill

I'm having trouble visualizing your problem, Bill. Is it possible to post some pictures of what you are describing?

And, you might get much more in the way of useful responses if your subject line were not "Bill Howard". Somethng like "Driver's electrical window failure - how to fix?" might get more interest.
