Headlights

Question: I installed a leveling kit on my F150 and of course I never measured the height for adjustments so that my headlights do not shine in the back of peoples heads. Is there any height/measurement for the headlights where they are to be adjusted too? Not sure if there is a DOT regulation on height. Any help would be appreciated.

There's alll kinds of complicated ways of setting the headlights assuming you are on a level surface and are just exactly (25 ft?) from a wall.

My approach is to go out to a nice, level, deserted road at night and adjust those things so they light up where you are going and not the sky or the ground right in front of your truck. I bet if you do this, your lights will be aimed right.
