Hey, I bought an 06' f150. It currently has manual locks and window. I am looking to install power locks and keyless entry on it. Any suggestions on brands, products, or methods? this is all I could find thus far:

Best to go to an auto wrecker and get the guts from power doors. That way you have the best look. You will have to tap into your fuse pod, but it shouldn't take too long.

You will likely have to drill a few holes in doors, but there should be marks there already.

 

I was reading that my truck may not have the wiring harness for the automatic locks to be installed. I called the dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about. Anyway I can check without ripping the door apart?
Also any instruction on how to install the power locks? I found some on power window but not locks.
