Door Keypad ? 2002 FX4

I bought my truck about 9 months ago and it didnt come with either a keyless remote or the code to the keypad on the door. I know I can program a keyless entry, but is there anyway to find out the combination to the keypad? A buddy of mine said his dad had a lincoln towncar once and the combination was on a sticker in the trunk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The CSM has the factory 5 digit code on it.

The CSM is located up behind the driver's side dash.

This picture shows where you need to lay on your back and look up behind the dash with a flash light. Note the parking brake just behind my hand, and pay attention to the parking brake cable adjustment just above my index finger.

You are looking for a white / off white colored box with a 5 digit number on it.

The white box behind the wires is the CSM. lower left hand corner of the picture you can see the parking brake, and the cable adjustment with the Roberts head screw on it.

Pull your door panel off, to see if you have the wiring in the door ( don't know if you have done this yet or not ).
If you need directions on removing the door panel, you can download the instructions for your model & MY truck at Muth, just select the mirrors, and there is a URL for downloading the PDF for door removal.

You are looking for a connector like this :

You should see this through the opening for the speaker.

Top box is the handle for a Silver ( YN ) truck, with the keypad cutouts on it, the last 2 letters will change depending on the color of your truck.
Bottom box is the keypad itself, that bolts into the handle.

I have some directions for the Screw in my 2nd album, which is slightly different then the other 2 body styles.

Good luck

RegCab/SuperCab and Super Crew Door Keypad pre 04

I had a 2002 Supercab, I bought the door handle with the opening for the keypad in it and keypad, it reached and plugged right in.
I now have a 2003 Supercrew and I have the same plug in my door with cap on it, but in the Supercab door the plug was near the back of the door and the little pigtail wire (6") on the actual keypad would reach it. On my Supercrew the plug w/cap on it is near the speaker and would need a longer wire from the keypad. I saw one on ebay for a Supercrew the wire harness is about 24" long to reach the plug near the speaker opening. Still searching for a 2002 or 2003 Supercrew True Blue Door handle/keypad w/long harness from a "Lariat" to do the swap on my truck. Cannot get the pre painted door handles from Ford anymore. Anyone ever comes across a salvage yard 2002 or 2003 "True Blue" Supercrew Lariat, I need a few True Blue Painted parts.. LMK. Thanks.
