Train horn power?

I want to put my compressor behind the rear seat "Crew cab" and I don't want to run a power wire all that way. What do you guys think about splicing off the trailer power supply? That way the pump will only come on with the key so I don't have to run another relay. It should handle it, it does run all the lights and stuff in the trailer.....

Not really a tool box guy, don't want a bunch of junk getting in there. And that is just what will happen......

if i were you i would hook it up to a toggle switch and then run it straight to the battery, that way you can choose when you need it on.
just thought i would throw that out there
