Left 12V DC Cig Lighter Out?

Left 12V DC Cig Lighter Out?

I'd like to hook up my Zune and my CB radio but my left power point isnt working. I think I blew a fuse or something a few years ago on vacation. How do you fix this or can I pull the thing out and replace it maybe?

ummm..... Check the fuse. Are you really asking if you should do that?

Check your fuse box. It is a fuse! It happens all the time to a Ranger I work out of.

Can someone tell me which one it is? I checked all of them a while back and they were fine. I'll check again tho.

if u have a volt meter test the fuse... i blew a fuse once and it had visual signs of it being blown and it pissed me off till i figured it out

You use both terms, so by left do you mean the actual cigar lighter ? ( the other one is a power point ).

Cigar lighter is passenger compartment fuse panel ( central junction box ) fuse # 3 25A, page 134 in the owners manual.

If you mean the power point ( '98 terms = Aux power socket ), under hood fuse panel ( battery junction box ) fuse # 10, 25A., page 140 in the owners manual.
