"Lean" codes are seldom caused by O2 sensors. Usually vacuum leaks or a dirty MAF sensor cause them.

Let me guess. You have the 4.0L v6.
IF I am right on, you may have failing intake manifold gaskets. Very common on 4.0's, both the OHV or SOHC versions, to boot...

Normally if you get codes for both banks lean and an o2 sensor code you have a vacuum leak allowing unmetered air into the intake.
Most of the time when an o2 sensor goes you either get several codes indicating the o2 sensor is missing & malifunctioning or you get one code indicating the o2 sensor is retarded/slow to respond.
The PCV hose connected to the back of the throttle body is a common vacuum leak on these trucks.

There are quite a few others, these are the ones that I posted with the ford service manual verbiage.
Start with checking the intake, for leaks ( did you just change the air filter ? ) and cleaning the MAFS.
I cleaned my MAFS on my 2001 with 91% isop alcohol and q-tips. just be careful, the wire can break if you press too hard.
Either reset the codes with a scanner, or disconnect the neg side of the battery for 5 min, reconnect, and complete 2 drive cycles

if you get a CEL, have the codes scanned again, to see if the same ones are there, or if one cleared, or changed.
next I would go the route of LastSplash's checking for air leaks in the vac system.
Fixing the air leak in the intake is the first thing I would focus on, if un metered air is making it into the system, the output can be out of wack, and report errors that might not be there. or it could be that the O2 sensor is on the edge of working to begin with, and reporting an error a new O2S would not.
Ford won't state it ( coverage issues ) but generally accepted practice is to change O2S every 60K miles to make sure they are operating correctly ( rather then on the edge of functioning )

Yeah. The check engine light has been for awhile and when we installed the CAI it was still on. Then we ran the computer through a diagnostic tool and found the codes.
The only good starting point is to back out the CAI install, clear all DTC, and complete 2 drive cycles, and check for the new codes, and work from there.
There is no telling which code was set when.
Modifications should not be made to the truck when DTCs are set.
Once you get the CAI off, clear the codes and complete 2 drive cycles, rescan for the code that are set at that time, and search for them on the forums here
