If you are gonna be flipping a switch anyways, just make the switch for the air horns. Maybe mount it on your seat controls on the side or something so it is hidden or stealth.

This can be done easily using a pair of relays...

I can understand why you want use your steering wheel button to activate it cause it would suck if you had to go hunting for a hidden switch in a panic situation lol...

On my old train horn setup, I used a set of toggle switches and relays so I could arm one of each train horn setup or the factory horn and trigger either of them (or all of them) using factory horn button....

Here's a video of that setup showing how it worked:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=0

On my current setup, I'm only running one set of train horns and the factory horn...

I wanted the switches to look factory stock, so I borrowed a rear heater switch from my parts truck and added it to one of the empty switch slots to the left of the steering wheel....

When switched to the "Lo" position, the factory horn is activated with the steering wheel button....

When switched to the "Hi" position, the train horn is activated with the steering wheel button (I usually keep it switched on Hi)

It's also wired into the factory alarm system (panic button FTMFW!!)

All you need is a toggle switch and a pair of relays and I can walk you through the install....

Snake, that would be great and the stock look you have is a plus(+) but i have nothing like you have there just a cheap ebay 3l and 3 chrome trumpet horn. Im looking to have a lighted switch so i can turn on the compressor when i want to but will be hooked up to ignition also and then i want to have a lighted switch for the stock VS. train horn if you can walk me through this that again would be most appreciated. TIA BTW where in queens you from im from bensonhurst bklyn now a floridian

Easily done

I used an extra red Hazard switch from my other Land Cruiser to control my compressor....

It's wired to an accessory circuit, so it will only get power when the key is turned on....

The compressor will still automagically shut down @ 150psi because of the pressure switch, but I still wanted a main shut off switch as a safety as well as a silencer for drive-thru's (it's hard to order a BigMac with a compressor buzzing into the mic)

Since I usually keep the switch in the ON position, I opted not to illuminate the switched main bulb, however, it's still backlit like the rest of the switches and also works with the dimmer....

This will be a little more complicated to wire up cause you'll need both an accessory lead as well as a direct power lead....

Reason being you won't want to have the switch lights illuminated when you turn the key off, but you'll still need power to the switches if you want to honk the horn with the key off (like reaching into an open window to give it a quick blast without having to turn the key on)

So you'll need a direct power lead for the switches and an accessory lead to power the lights for the switches....

And since you'll only want the switch lights to illuminate when the switches are turned on, you'll need a relay for each toggle position that's powered by an accessory circuit....

Hardly worth the effort just to have an illuminated toggle switch imho....

I kept mine simple by just using backlight illumination and not switched illumination....

I'm from Jamaica, but I travel back and forth to Orlando every few weeks (in O-Town right now as I type)

Update

I installed the horns this past weekend and all is well but they dont have the "SCARE" factor i was looking for but they sound like a loud buick or a caddy horn but for the price i cant complain. and i went with a momentary switch just because i didnt want to start splicing into factory wiring and void some sort of warranty but there cool i guess. sorry no pics of install but i will get pics of where i mounted them and the switch
