1992 Interior light issues...HELP!!

Hey guys,
I've read through the thread about the dome lights, but my seems to be different...the symptoms are the same, but it's on an older truck, a 1992. The dome and bed light continues to stay on and drains the battery. It's not the door latch. Any ideas?! i'm going to crazy trying to get this truck back on the road!
THANK YOU!
Andrew

The only button is on the drivers side door, When Push it in, the light stays on, yet when the keys are in the ignition buzzing, that will go on and off with the button. So I'm pretty sure that the door button is OK. I don't know if there is a relay or something that I don't know of?
Thank you for your response.

There's no relay unless you have anti-theft &/or RKE. Twist the headlight **** out of the "dome force" position. You'll feel the click. As you keep turning it, you'll dim the cluster & dash illumination, so don't go too far until night when you can see the effect.
