Running Lights Work, Rear Brake Lights dont

So Im sorta lost. My Brake Light on the back of my Cab works, my rear brake lights do not. Running Lights work when my head lights are on, and there is no problem with my Blinkers either.

Replaced the Bulbs, didnt work (Didnt think they were bad, but for 4 dollars I figured I would try) The person who owned the truck before me when putting in a tow light kit, just tapped the wires into the rear lights. IE Spliced the trailer Brake light to the Rear Left Brake Light. Checked that Connection and it seems to be ok.

Any suggestions?

Anyone have a clue which fuse it is? I believe it is fuse number 13, but I do not have an owners manuel and cant find one online, so I could be mistaken

Fuse number 13 isnt blown. I checked all the fuses under my dash and none are blown.

Start out with what year truck ? ( your profile is not completed ).

need an owners manual download a pdf version at:
http://www.genuineservice.com/genuin...efault?page=E4

Also, pay attention to which fuse box you are in when you are looking at fuse #13.
04+ have 95% of everything in the cab of the truck and the 97-03 ( and 04 heritage ) have 2 fuse boxes, one under the hood and one in the pass compartment.

I think I have decided it has to be a loose wire, Atleast that is all I can Figure out.

What is the process you used to get to this point ?

Or is it fixed, and all is good ?

Well I switched the Brake Switch, and the brake light on the Cab still works, So I do not believe the Brake switch could be the problem.

According to the Wire Guide, it shows the Cab Brake light and the rear Brake lights are coming out of the switch and Split and one goes to the Cab and one goes to the rear. I am assuming since I can safely assume its not the switch and I checked the fuse. That it has to be a loose wire.
