Does anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone know how to do this? and has anyone done it?

he says it takes like 15 secs and it turns you digital readout into anouther gauge with Oil temp, MPH, Tach, Oil pressure, ect..

I know in my XLT you can hold down the odometer button and then start the truck and you can scroll through options to get a digital speedo and more..

can you get the mialage reeadings back up after doing this? is so how?

All you need to do is put your key in the ignition, hold the trip button down and turn the ignition to the run position. Wait till it says test, then start your truck. You can scroll throught the different options by pressing the trip button. Once you turn off your truck the odometer goes back to normal mode.

f-150 2000 reprogramming key

i unplug the key reader by mistake ....
under the dash board and the engine don't want to start ...
how i can reprogramme the key !!

please help me !!!

What Key reader are you talking about ?

The PATS codes in <='03 is in the HEC, which means you would have had to taken the gauges out, and unplug the HEC from the back of the gauges.

Maybe a little more info ( in a new thread ) is in order.
