My fuse keep blowing out. It's a 5amp fuse for the headlamp turnoff and over drive switch. I'm getting good at replacing it, but would like to know if I can fix the problem, or if I should just go to a larger amp fuse.

The truck is an 01 Lariat Screw 4x4.

 

try doing a search on the overdrive switch
I think they have problems with the wires in the shifter lever rubbing and shorting.
