Fog Lights Not Working
No. I left the fog mod in place.
The only thing I can really think of is that I disconnected the battery prior to removing the Xenarcs (as they have their own lead to the battery). I can't imagine why that would effect the functionality though...

I did the Fog light mod and it kepr blowing the 5 amp fuse, After a while the fogs would not come on even in the normal position that they are supposed to. I have a seperate switch to turn them on any time I want. One of these days i will look at the schematics and figure out what went wrong. I suspect that the contacts are not rated for the aperage that flows through them with the mod.

OK, I have an update.
Pulled out the headlight switch and removed the quick-splice from the foglight mod - everything is working correctly. No more headlights in the parking light mode. Wired it back together and the problem came back.
Passenger side foglight not working was due to a quick-splice that the dealer put in that ended up burning through the splicer. Took it out, wired straight, and foglight now works.
No longer have the ability to turn on foglights in parking light mode - will either live with it or I guess I will just wire in a separate switch.

I'm 99% sure that my problem originated at my passenger side fog bulb...
I say this because, when I pulled both bulbs out, the metal posts that lead into the glass portion of the bulb were SEVERELY charred. Like APT mentioned, the 5 A fuse was the one to blow on mine as well...
Odd that some make it with no problems and others have mega problems...

RockPick,
Remember how I mentioned in an earlier post that the likelihood of blowing both fogs at the same time was pretty small. I take that back. Guess what happened to mine the other night? Two fogs MIA - both blown. Oh well, I put the originals back in. The build date for my '05 is December 6th. I assume you're driving a new KR about now?

Also, I had a similar problem when I upgraded my headlight harness. Headlights were actually on all the time. Found out my relays were getting wet, so I just moved them, and haven't had a problem since.
and for anyone adding additional lighting, a heavy duty harness with relays like I have for my headlights and fogs is the only way to go. I only use my factory headlight wiring to trigger relays. BTW the harness seemed to help get more power to the lights. I can't remember now what the voltage measured at the factory lighting was, but with this there's always battery voltage sent to the headlights.
I put the same setup on my 300zx after I found I was only getting about 10.5v to each headlight. I could hardly see at night. I also added high wattage bulbs, and composite lenses which helped too...
