serious electrical problem
i have 2003 f150 supercab w/fx4 package (5.4 l)it all stated with the abs light came on about 2 weeks ago. now the ploblem im having is the light stays on permently and the truck seems to run rough and ..... if i turn on the head lights the truck shuts off. ill be calling the dealer in the morning. ive had the truck 2 1/2 mths and it only has 3900 miles on it. very dissapointed with this since it is a BRAND NEW truck. has anyone else had this ploblem with their 2003 f150. thanks for your help and any input.

Turning the headlites on/ shutting the engine off is a sign of a bad ground to me.
It is stealing and causing voltage to drop below the operating level the computer and what it's relays needs.
