Question Optima or Exide Orbital

Been hearing good things about the Exide on 4x4 pages, but I've never heard of them. I want to replace the factory Motorcraft in my 2001 F-150 4x4. I am also running an 80A / 1,500W amp to power my sub while driving. Which should I get, and what model in that particular brand? Know a good place to buy online or is my best bet locally? Thanks!!!

I would go with the optima, if you plan on draining it get the deep cycle (yellow top).

I'm thinking about getting a Optima also, but don't know which one(size wise). I know there are two different group sizes either a 75/35 or a 34/78. Do they bolt right in? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I'd like to know the same...what size is right for our trucks (didn't know there were only 2) and how do you mount it?

Well mounting is the problem I have an Optima Red Top and just tried to replace it when I ran into a huge problem. The Optima is way samller in size than the big Ford battery so there is noway to secure it trust me I rtried all kinds of thing . So to anyone that has a red top Optima how in the heck did you mount it ? Did you have to buy a new battery box and drill new holes for it the what about the little black plastic Vacuum box that sits behind the stock battery?
