Ford is now fighting Superchip/Warranty Claim
I would guess that at least some of you have seen this:

I think it's helpful in having a better understanding of how this stuff works. If anyone has not seen this, it's something that can be benificial to all of us using aftermarket parts.

Ok, I finally got around to testing the old PCM today' it's been a busy week. After taking out my new PCM (It's an SVB2), I reinstalled the old PCM (UAT2) and tried to start the truck. Just be certain, I tried it with the old key and the new reprogrammed key I got when the computer was replaced. The truck did not start in either case. I guess the dealer was correct when he said they tested the PCM with the Superchip removed once they found the chip. It does appear that the PCM is indeed bad.
Mike: I'll contact you via phone on Monday to get an RMA and shipping instructions for returning the computer and chip for testing. After the tests, assuming the chip is good and there were no problems that can be attributed to the chip, can you have it reprogrammed for an SVB2? Is it better to wait to do that and leave the chip as is until I resolve this issue one way or another with Ford?
