Tuner Question

I bought an SCT 9100 Custom Micro Tuner from Troyer Performance for my '02 F150, which I've since traded in....I recently bought a new F150 that I'm considering buying a tuner for, but I wanted to try and sell my old one first, so I'm trying to figure out if it's locked. That said, I plugged in my old tuner to my new truck's diagnostic connector....the display on the tuner read, "EECV Tuner is VIN Locked"; then, it read, "Stock Tuning is Installed".

I'm confused, so my question is, is it locked or not?

Thanks, in advance, for any comments/suggestions....

Before you let the truck go, did you return it to the stock tune or sell it with the SCT tune still in it?

I can't remember....I think I may have returned it to stock, but I'm not positive.
