I just switched an MPT 93 octane race tune out and put my 91 octane Tow tune from 5*, although not as snappy or fun it is a solid tune. But I need the tow tune for the summer months.

Try the 87 tunes first....otherwise you will never try them

 

True story. I started with the 5 Star 87 perf/tow for a month or so and thought it was awesome. I recently switched to the 93 perf/tow and I don't see myself going back any time soon.

 

Lol I better fn premium was 50 to 75 cents higher at the gas stations today!

 

Well I ran the tow tune that came preloaded and wow what a difference with just that very impressed pulling the 25 foot camper 160+ miles this weekend but now back and have custom tunes from email and it will not find the device when I click to find my custom tunes . Have to call tomorrow I guess sucks was excited....

 

Mike helped me right away... have windows 8 so needed different way for driver to work! Will report back end of the week with 87 perf/tow tune.

 

Well so far works good on 87 but to be totally honest expected a little more power. Shifts are softer then I expected may have to do 91 performance to get what I want I think. But all in all she idles better, better pedal response and is more powerful with mpg rising so for most that's what they want.

 

Oh and towed 180 miles and there was a huge increase there. Way more power and could get in what gear I wanted and hold high gear much better. That was huge thumb's up there. Pulling 25 foot around 7,000lb camper and it was night n day.

Put on another 400+ miles and I like it a little more but I just filled with 91 and have a 200 mile trip Thursday .

 

Truck will only see 91 fn awesome!!!
