Id like to have one, but i just got my X3 a couple months ago.. Unless i can sell it

Wonder if the custom tunes from the x3 can be loaded on the new model

 

Tune files are in a standardized format. Have been for some time now.

You will need them tweaked to match the new device's serial number.

Take a look at MGD's URL, on the first page( of that thread ) there is a statement made by Stage 3 for a "buy back" ? Don't know what it entails but might be some thing you might want to look into.

Finally ordered it tonight!!!

With 3 MPT tunes.. There goes what tread i had left on my oem tires.

 

I just got mine and programmed the truck. WOW! What a difference.

Do I always need it plugged in? Or can I take it out of the truck?

 

Once programmed, you can remove it.
