I have a 06 5.4 and I recently put a Bullydog tuner on it. Definitely woke the engine up quite a bit, but the throttle response still isn't where I want it. Anything I can do? And is this tuner good for Fords?

 

Leave the Bullydogs to the diesel guys. You made a poor choice.

What you need is a SCT device with a set of custom tunes from one of the reputable tuners.

As was so well stated by my colleagues you made an unfortunate purchase. I recommend that you return it if possible, as it is indeed crap.

May I ask you a question? Did you not consider researching this before buying? I am curious, is all. Asking after the fact ( and finding out you goofed) is kinda pointless, no?

Sorry - likely not what you wanted to hear - but we won't blow sunshine up yer wazoo just to make yall feel good.

Flog it in the classifieds if need be, and buy an SCT flash device ( X3, SF3, etc) from MPT, 5Star, VMP, PHP,Troyer, JJ, with custom calibrations.

Yer throttle issues will be history and the truck will be a LOT stronger than it is now. And you'll have some actual bonafide aftersale support.
