Need stock tune for 5.4L
Long story short: I need a stock tune (honestly I'll take any working tune) for an STC Excalibrator 2 (X2) for my 2004 FX4 5.4L. Hex key: RXAQ5B4.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and consideration will be given.
Thanks,

An acquaintance gave me the x2 to 'play with'. I knew better given my background in software, but I connected it to the DLC anyway. I reasoned that if it were incompatable, the x2 would inform the user.
It didn't. The x2 attempted to load new paramaters and failed. I disconnected the unit and started the truck. Result: rough idle and no throttle. Next I attempted to return to the stock tune. Result: Same as above.
Codes P2104 and P2111. Tested the resistance on the throttle body actuator and passed. I have not tested the TPS yet.
From the research I've performed, all signs point to a failed PCM or a tow to the dealership and associated *** whooping charges.
I thought if I could get a tune for the truck then I could attempt to load it and test. If the PCM were still good then I could have it re-flashed and lesson learned.

We've all made poor decisions and you aren't getting bagged for that - but the result in this case pretty much requires a visit to a Ford dealer. I doubt you blew the PCM, but it definitely needs to be reprogrammed with the proper equipment.
A reflash shouldn't be more than 1 hour book labor.

i'll keep you all updated. Thanks for the encouragement that the PCM is not fried.
I know the VIN is needed to reprogram the PCM. Does anyone know if the vehicle is needed? I have received conflicting information that the truck needs to be present vs removing the PCM from the truck and taking it to the dealership.
