Is it best to call Troyer, or what is the best way to reach them. I emailed them up to a week ago Monday, and I know it is the holidays so I will give them another week, but is there a better way to reach them?

Yes you can. There are two different SCT tuners. you just need to pick the one that comes with the pre-installed tunes

 

I couldnt be happier with 5 Star. I have not tried any of the other mentioned here but im sure whoever you go with you will be happy.

 

Or you could "call" Troyer's and explain what you want and see what their thoughts are.

 

Well, I ordered a VMP tune. Justin sent me a 89/E85 Performance Tune. Unfortunately, the weather has gotten pretty sloppy and slick outside so it is hard to tell how much improvement. I did load it and have driven the truck, throttle response seems better and the transmission does seem to shift better. I still have 2 slots open on the SCT so I may order a 5 star and Troyer tune to compare with.

 

Best tune is on a dyno. As for mail order give Jdm Engineering a call. They do excellent mail order tunes. It's what they specialize in . They have excellent customer service as well. At least from my experience.

 

How long did your order from vmp take? I ordered an sctx3 and a tune. Now I'm waiting for it.

 

5 Star. Mike even got me doing my own tunes. Great customer service. I even wrote a review for him.

 

I think around 7-10 days but it was ordered like 2 days before New Years, so there were some holiday days.

 

I got a e-mail , delivery is set for friday, for the x3 , about 2 weeks for me.

 

I have a question. when ordering the custom tune from VMP. I have the gotts intake mod, dual exhaust, the stock gears. and I deciding between the 87 and 89 performance

 

Can you adjust shift pressure and points with the sct x3?
