looking to get chip or tunner

I have a 97 f150, and I'm looking for something around 300 that has preset options such as towing performance and fuel saver

On.the fly changing would be nice but I don't mind one that I have to plug in then unplug either

I don't.know crap about this stuff thou and you guys are always smart

Johnnyjb, I have a Gryphon programmer with the dash pod I am looking to sell. Just traded in the Ford for an X-runner. I'm asking $250 plus shipping for the programmer and the dash pod. I am gonna post this is the forums, if you want it, please PM me ASAP.

K&N CAI and Magnaflo exhuast. It is 2008 FX2 with 5.4L V8. It really opened up extra power. And I really liked the harder shifting, just dont put the shifting up too much, it will jerk the crap outta you.

Jeb, your programmer can't be used on a 97-03.

#1 firming up the shifts with a "tuning device" is super hard on the pump

#2 when selling a used "tuning device" with "custom tunes" will still require the purchaser to purchase a "custom tune"

The Max Energy Programmer by Hypertech will give you optimized tuning based on premium fuel, 93 octane. It will also firm up the shifts on the automatics. It is a PN 42000.
Gary @ Hypertech.
