Questions about tuners

Im pretty much completely new to the whole thing...i have a 2002 2wd f150 with the 4.2L in it and i was wonder what would be a good programmer for it, where to get it, etc. it has a total of 9" of lift and 37"s with a 4.88 rear end in it, i want to be able to get my speedo back to somewhat accurate rather than being 10mph all the time and maybe either get a lil extra power out of it or some better gas mileage or maybe change tranny shift points a lil bit

If I were to get tunes for my V6, I would make an appointment and take my truck to Troyer. I don't know good any of the other tuners mentioned in this forum are with the V6.

I believe for a device that can be custom tuned, you pretty much will be limited to a SCT. I don't think I'd be happy with a canned tune.
