Any difference between the old evo and the new CS?

I have the older edge evolution and ive been looking at the new cs. Does anyone know if they have helped the canned tunes out on the new edge or will they be the same as what i have now? I would like to upgrade but if there is no difference in the tunes i dont see a reason to upgrade.

Thanks

Why don't you upgrade and get some custom tunes from PHP?

EDIT: Just saw Groovy Chick's post - PHP is having a 10% off sale on tunes this month.

The PHP canned tunes are a tad better than the Edge canned tunes, and like GLC said, you can get a discount on the custom tunes if you want them.

The CS still has edge's canned tunes not php's......only the monochrome gryphon has php canned tunes.....and that's not available for the op's truck...

The newer CS should be more "reliable" than the older Evolution you have Coy. It doesn't use the OBD cable that caused all the problems. Still, if what you have works, I don't know that I'd switch.

I did switch for three reasons.
1. Since I moderate the PHP forum I wanted to be able to talk intelligently about the newer platform.
2. I wanted to add a backup camera to my truck and didn't want an extra stick-on screen on top of the dashboard (I got the CTS).
3. I wanted to be able to monitor more than four engine parameters. You can monitor up to 8 on the CTS.
But, I still have the old model too. I use it now and then to answer questions.

Ok, I am unintelligent about the new platforms.
