Hey guys I'm trying to install my cts. And that big wire doesn't look like it will fit. Any picture or instruction for 2010 f150 with dash pod? Thanks boys!

I should mention that I've looked at the video on edges website and looked on you tube and all of them make it look so easy. And it doesn't look that easy on my f150

The "big wire" you're talking about is the one that goes from the OBDII port to the back of the programmer? Which end looks like it won't fit? No one has ever commented on this problem before, so I wonder if possibly they sent you a cable meant for a diesel application?

I think you need to call Edge tech support. I'm sure if it's the wrong cable, they'll get you the proper one quickly.

Oh sorry! I wasn't specific enough. The wire fits the obdII. Most toddlers could figure that out haha. I mean running the wire up the side panel and setting up the dash pod. The wire doesnt look like it will fit running up the side panel of the dash and in between the door.

Bahahahahahahahahaha

I ran my Garmin cable up under the knee bolster, (as in behind it), and through the side panel, and immediately tucked into the door rubber. I found that trying to go around the knee bolster was simply too far. I suspect you will have the same success with the edge cable routing.

OK, NOW I understand. I don't have your model year truck, but I bet if you pull the panel off on the side of the dash, then install the cable, you'll find the gap between the A-pillar and the dash will work perfectly.

Yeah I got it figured out! Thanks! But I could NOT get the back up camera to show a picture. I ran the ground to the battery. and I saw something on the internet about something like that happening when the ground and the power source being to far apart? Has anybody ran into this problem before??

I've had problems with the camera too in my truck. In my case, the video cable was faulty in the first and second occurrences (the original cable developed a short between the center conductor and the shield, and in the second occurrence, the replacement cable developed a break at one end, where the conductor attaches to the plug). Finally, the third time this happened, I discovered the video cable was not seated properly back at the camera connector.

It's hard to test for video feed, but it's pretty easy to test for camera power if you have a simple multimeter. Just see if you have battery voltage at the camera end of the power cord when you're in reverse (or when the key is on, depending on how you've wired it). The original camera was wired to be always ON whenever the ignition was on, so you could select it while moving forward. You could also take the positive power feed from the backup light wire to just have the camera while backing.

Provided you connected the power feeds properly, I don't see them being a problem, but the video feed is "touchy". If you can test with a known, good, possibly shorter RCA type cable, it will tell you a lot. It's what I did.
