Not for a while (if ever).

The Bosch PCM is encrypted and I don't think any of the tuners has figured out how to break the encryption.

There are also quite a few rumors (I think it's called a Special Service Notice) about voiding the engine/drivetrain warranty if tuners/programmers are used on the EB (and yes, they can tell).

There might even be post on this forum about it.

Edit: Here it is: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...-ecoboost.html

What's the big deal? Didn't you know that the factory warranty only covers what came from the factory?

To me there is a major difference between them not covering a problem because of a mod, and cancelling the warranty all together.

It won't cancel your entire warranty. Ford will not pay for engine repairs if your mod caused (or likely caused) the failure.

Ford will pay for radio repairs even if you have a tuner.

Ford will not pay for a new hood if you blow your engine, damage the hood in the process, and have a tuner that likely caused the failure.

Problem is that it's up to you to prove the tuner DIDN'T cause the failure.
