Opinions on Edge Evolution Programmer

GLC is correct for the CS and CTS. The older Edge Evolutions had to be sent to PHP for conversion.
The CS and CTS do not.
In fact I have 5 tunes on my CTS all were 'downloaded' Fusion.
Canned 87 tranny
Canned 87 towing
Canned 91+ performance
Custom 87 performance/economy
Custom 87 towing

they do make pods.. the cs will fit like the old version, but the cts will require an adapter..

I'm not sure I really "get" why folks drive around with the programmer installed and mounted. They are not the most attractive thing in the world, and do nothing cosmetically for me personally. Under the right circumstances, the extra guages may come in handy, but for a daily driver, with the shifter in "drive" it seems redundant to me. Not to mention, it is just inviting some idiot criminal to steal the thing. (even though its useless to them)
Yes, the odd guy may constantly adjust small things, and tweak it to his liking, but for the VAST majority of users, the thing is (IMHO) best left in a drawer at home after installing the tunes.
I've had 2 Garmin's s stolen out of my truck in the last year. I would be too nervous having a $500 toy out in the open like that.

I saw on youtube that PHP had a CTS, I believe, that could idle the engine up. This was on a diesel but I was wondering if this can be done with the gas engines? It would be nice for that winter time.
If it can, will it be able to idle up in certain temperatures? This would be an ideal feature. I've seen the powerstokes do it and I thought that was the coolest thing!
