"GOTTS" Mod and custom tuning

Just a quick question...what impact, if any, would removing and going back to the stock intake have on a custom tune. As in, going from the GOTTS mod back to the stock intake.

Shouldn't be any impact.....the stock air filter box is still there....unlike a Cai where the maf is relocated....

No impact at all. The Gotts mod does not effect the tune. But, it might reduce your high end power some to go back to an intake with half the cross-sectional area.

Thanks for the input..just trying to track down a (somewhat) rough idle condition. It seems that (if this old brain remembers correctly) it started soon after I did the GOTTS mod, have tried most everything else. Only other thing is a Borla exhaust that has been installed about the same time as the Gotts.
