gryphon? PID gauges
My engine temp is always around 195 and I quite watching oil temp as it stayed with the engine temp. The tranny temp ranges from 145 to about 155. The voltage is always about 14.2

202 engine, 190 transmission. Factory gauges aren't useful to see what is really going on since the stick on center from around 150 to way hot. The transmission seems hot, but the temperature gauge is right after the pump according to Bill at PHP. Low 200's when towing isn't supposed to be unusual. I haven't towed when it is really hot yet.
What are you reading on your truck?
When that Gryphon was in my truck, it read 197 for ECT, about 8 to 10 higher on the CHT, 145 - 150 on TFT unless I was plowing where it would frequently hit 200, hit 240 plowing when the fan clutch failed (trans failed about a year later).
I'm pretty sure the trans temps of a 4 speed are much cooler then those of a 6 speed.
I sure miss the info the Gryphon offered and most of all the improvements.

TFT is like what other people report. Usually around 150 when not working hard. On a hot day (115+), towing up a long hill (7-8 miles of 7% grade), I've seen it hit 220 briefly.
Oil temp goes all over the place depending on load and engine temp. I don't monitor it.
Battery voltage can drop to about 13.5V when I'm towing (charging 3 batteries, powering DRLs, and running a refrigerator.)
