PHP tunes degrade over time?

Yes, adaptive can be turned off, and is for tuning and then turned back on. The learning is beneficial though, so best to leave it on. I have driven for long periods with the adaptive strategy turned off, and a few times in forced open loop, once for two weeks.....I forgot.

justin at vmp wont contact me back... idk whats going on with him to talk about my performane tunes running rough. (but still not as rough as stock the exhaust makes it run like ****!!)

Sounds like you may have problems with something other than your tune. If the condition is still present with the stock tune then something else is wrong. He is usually pretty good getting back to people. Has always responded to me within 48 hours but usually withing 24 hours.

i dont think anything is wrong, just stock vehicles with aftermarket exhaust and or intakes dont run like they did from the factory, thats one reason you get a custom tune. and plus theirs no dtc or trouble codes- im not loosing any gas mileage or power- it just idles a little rough and doesnt shift perfect.
(if their is something mechanically wrong what do you think it would be?)
