You're going to wait for a custom tune from any custom tuner, ie from as I call it, 'the big three'.

For the record, when I have actually spoken with anyone from php they have been great. I've simply run out of patience with this situation as I can't seem to get any communication from their end since I spoke with Bill around 2 months ago.

EDIT: Even though my emails have been going unanswered for the past 6 weeks I will at least give php the chance to return to the office and hopefully address the situation. I've been modding cars for the past 15 years and never had to come to the forums to get a vendor's attention and to be honest it's giving me a nauseous feeling. Hopefully we can resolve this issue when they return at the end of the month and I can see for myself why everyone raves about their tunes.
You know I just see some get lost in the stack from primarily the top 2 tuners on this forum which are also sponsors.....funny they don't post on here that much anymore either....don't get me wrong that there are very few that end up this way but its ridiculous when it does happen.

If you have Facebook, PHP does have a site on there also.....

Well I have no idea what's actually happened to my tune in progress but I will keep a level head and wait until they get back to the office before making any more noise. Assuming this is some kind of strange mix up and it's dealt with promptly I'll harbour no ill feelings towards php and will be sure to let forum members know that I was taken care of.
I genuinely regret having to bring my issue to a public forum like this but I honestly didn't know what to do when my emails went unanswered.

I ordered my xcal 3 from VMP on friday and I just got it today. I opted for the expedited order and it was still cheaper than from others. I just dont see the need to wait months for a tuner with some tunes in it.

Did you get CUSTOM tunes? You can buy a programmer with canned tunes anywhere and simply plug it in.

To the OP, on Monday morning at 10 am Eastern I would be hitting up their live chat feature. That seems to be working the best based on comments I've seen on here. Good luck and hopefully you'll get your tunes soon.

Thanks my friend....I'll do that.

On a side note, how do you like the 87 perf tune with your wheel/tire combo?

I have the exact same setup

I can tell you my custom PHP 87 perf tune (93 perf too) for my Edge works well with my setup, 305/40-22 tires on 22" HD wheels.

a wait is not 5 months though. 5 or 6 weeks ok if their up front about it, 5 months screw that.

VMP took under a week for my f150. for my diesel i went with the number 1 tuner for the 6.0l and had the tune in under 8 hours from order to receiving the email.

I think (can't really remember), I waited over three months for my custom tunes back when PHP started writing custom tunes for the Edge, before they even had the Gryphon.

The PHP tunes still rock.

I think it took nearly 6 months for my tunes to show up a few years back. Part of the problem was a mistake on my end and some issues on theirs. But I was really pleased with the improvements Bill's tunes offered on my truck. Now that I have moved on to a 2011, I've noticed that it could really use some of Bills handy work.

I would patiently wait another 6 months, if need be, to have Bill improve the performance of my 11. So, my suggestion is hang tight and you will be happy with the end results.

If you've had neither you don't know what you're missing.

To the OP and anybody else that is waiting on a PHP tune: I highly suggest that if you are not members of their forum, that you do so and post your concerns there. You will get more immediate contact and info.

I spoke with Bill on Sunday and you should all know that there is an on going issue sending emails to certain domains. Unfortunately, what happens to the emails is unknown, but they ate getting lost in cyberland when Bill sends them to certain addresses; mine being one of them. I highly suggest their forum for this reason.
