I would bet it has hurt their business. Yes they are growing but how many customers have given up and gone elsewhere? Don't get me wrong I like my Gryphon and my custom tunes but I did have problems with them as well. Getting a hold of PHP and resolving the issues could only be described as a nightmare. I don't come into the CTP section of this forum too often but I see that people are still complaining about how hard it is to get a hold of PHP. It seems like such an easy thing to fix.

i've seen too many buisiness falter because they don't grow with their buisiness employee wise or because the service they offer for the product is great, but the service,ie customer end is horrible,a company can only use the excuse we are small , and not respond to the customer for so long-before they lose the customer base-words speak volumes on this topic in this forum,i'm sure i'll get flamed for telling it like it is...

Like I said before, there are some that have had bad experiences with getting ahold of PHP, which sucks. I can only speak from my experience, which was great. I have recommended many times for those of you having trouble getting ahold of them, to try the online support/chat system they offer. I can ALWAYS get in touch with someone from PHP that way.

Who all has seen the movie Finding Nemo? A large customer base can be compared to the sea gulls that say nothing but "mine, mine, mine." The birds are also in a flock of hundreds. Every bird wants their interests put ahead of everyone else (hence the "mine, mine, mine"). If you can only throw one or two fish at a time there is no way to make all of them happy. At least if you are the one that keeps calling you are putting in more effort than the person who sits around complaining and you will most likely get you fixed faster because you are trying to keep the lines of communication open.
